Good for celebration, to chase away the sorrows, drained immediately or each sip savoured, neat or combined with other flavours, Hungarians believe their pálinka is almost always the answer. The local’s adoration is not surprising, as this spirit (usually made from distilled fruit) has been made since the 14th century in Hungary.
